we tipped back mimosas and feasted on fun...all while helping nicole to pack for the big move-in with doug-e-fresh!

Mystery of a Chicago Lady.

Recently the work of Vivian Maier was accidentally discovered by a fellow in Chicago at an antique auction. The cardboard box held 30-40,000 negatives, and about 10-15,000 negatives were still in rolls, undeveloped from the 1960's-1970's.

As you suspected, this story & hidden legend inspired me to no end.

Men Love Models.

i know, it's an obvious concept. not really even a concept, just a known.

but a couple weeks ago when i shot this fun event for RDubs, it sort of hit me as a surprise. maybe it's because i'm not around models very often, ha!

men seem to feel immediately 'more important', hold their chests higher, because models are within a short distance/at the same event. they smile wider out of pure joy that beautiful official models are walking around them...

even if they don't ever make eye contact or say hello, their self importance has seemingly heightened.

this is nothing against men, i do love men! i just forget sometimes how much weight 'american beauty' holds...(no pun intended) or any external beauty for that matter.

overall i had a great time, met some really nice people, made connects...got to be the voyeur that i love to be...

and went home to create.

definitely choked back the tears when they broke out
in a song they wrote, all dressed up in wedding attire.

50 people + beautiful back yard in red hook + timely sun poking out = celebration of love.

i popped into the farmers market at tompkins square park on sunday...and boy oh boy did the fresh fall goodies inspire me.

inspired me enough to do a meal dedicated to leaf peeping!
and so i began...

with the help of a dog named bleu.

hooray-ski! a meal to provide multiple healthy meals!

leaf peeping via veggies is fun.
